Everyone on the staff is professional and they provide her with 24 hour one on one care that I could not have found in a larger assisted living facility. What types of living arrangements do you offer?
Wholehearted Care offers a variety of living arrangements including private rooms and shared rooms. Each option is designed to provide comfort and privacy while promoting an engaging community atmosphere.
Can I visit my family member at any time?
Yes, we maintain an open-door policy toward family members and friends and welcome them within general visiting hours of 9:00am to 6:00pm. We request that consideration be given to normal sleeping hours.
Do you provide transportation for appointments outside the facility?
No, Wholehearted Care does not provide transportation services. We partner with community healthcare providers with mobile services such as practitioners, dentists, and podiatrists. We encourage family and friends to take their loved ones on outings if their health permits.
What measures are in place to handle medical emergencies?
Our staff members are trained in first aid and emergency response. We also have strong partnerships with local hospitals to provide immediate medical support when necessary. We also partner with local home health and hospice teams to support each resident's medical needs.
How do you support residents with dementia or Alzheimers
Although we are not memory care certified, our caregivers receive training and have adequate experience working with individuals with dementia and Alzheimer's.
Can residents personalize their living spaces?
Absolutely, residents are encouraged to bring personal items and furniture as they wish to add a personal touch to their living spaces. Our aim is for every resident to feel completely at home at Wholehearted Care.
